Day 1 - Oahu, HI Luau Luau

To get us in the mood for Hawaii we started off our trip with a visit to Paradise Cove Luau... we walked through and got a shelled lei and a mai tai...

Eugene and I made each other head wreaths... flowers on the right means you're single...on the left means you're taken

I got a pretty nifty flower... again this guy was the bestLuau food.. not bad but definitely got us in the mood... lomi salmon (basically salsa with salmon), fried chicken, egg battered mahi mahi with macadamia nut sauce, kuala pork (pork baked in an imu.. super tender, macaroni salad, taro poi .... chocolate cake, banana nut bread with coconut icing, coconut jelly

    No! But we did have breakfast for the rest of our time in Oahu
