Sorry folks for the delay but things have been a bit nuts with recruiting, school, the summit and my trip to Marrakech (will post stories with pictures during the weekend... probably while waiting for the SuperBowl to happen).
I've started recruiting for industry and it is quite an interesting prospect. Job postings filter through slowly and in spurts and since a good number of folks who were once focused on Consulting and Banking are either hedging their bets or have found out those prospects are slim pickings... that means all remaining of the 400 are fighting for the same big industry jobs. Competitive. I have to say that I have been very pleasantly surprised by the congeliality of my fellow applicants, I know this may only be true for industry folk but everyone's been very cool. I think the attitude is that recruiting is like golf. It's everyone's own game, and it's up to your performance. Again, I like my fellow LBSers, no cut throat competition here. So wish me luck!
