Ole Ole Madrid in November
November 20 to 21 we did another weekend trip...All these weekend trips are getting exhausting... helps that nothing starts early in Madrid so we did the Spanish thing to do and took a siesta
Got to give these guy kudos... great costume and a tough stance to hold
Plaza Mayor with early Christmas decorations up but a bit too early for the Christmas market
Happy and well rested and on our way to TAPAS
Mercado de San Miguel, Madrid's indoor version of Borough Market... and the first good meal I had the last time I visited Madrid
Caviar... my man treats me in style... they even threw in an extra bread with caviar
Pintos galore yum yum yum!
Oysters... I absolutely love Oysters! Eugene knows that the key to a happy marriage is a wife with a happy tummy
Don't know what this was all about but we enjoyed a show with some dancing spectators at the end of a yummy lunch
On the weekends the museums are free... first stop... El Prado to see La Guernica... finally in person
Yup... same night made it out to Reina Sofia that has an AMAZING collection of art
The next morning on the way to Palacio Real ... protests? so far every city we've visited has had protests...interesting times we live in
Palacio Real... pretty on the outside... AMAZING on the inside
Tapas crawling with Ivy, Jack and their friends... fresh off the plane from Morocco
Absolutely the best thing I ate in Spain... I dream of them still
You haven't been to Madrid if you haven't had the famous Chocolate and Churros... Chocolate for dipping not drinking... so thick it congeals if you don't eat it fast enough
